Sports Events Coordinator (Hybrid Working) – Job Expired

Civitas Recruitment are delighted to be working with a fantastic charity dedicated to the fight against childhood cancer. The charity aims to improve survival rates across all types of childhood cancer and support children and their families to live better with and after treatment. A fantastic opportunity exists for a Sports Events Coordinator to join the team. As Sports Events Coordinator you will project manage a range of sports events and partnerships within the charity’s portfolio and provide an excellent supporter experience to all sports events participants to maximise income. The postholder will also recruit and support new fundraisers to maximise their fundraising potential. It is a one-year contract (FTC) working full time, hybrid based in the central London office. The post also requires a certain amount of evening and weekend work.

Ideal candidates will be a confident, articulate, well organised individual who enjoys a challenge and has a methodical approach to their work. Candidates will possess prior events management background (not necessarily within the charity sector). You will have the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders both internal and external, including fundraisers, committee members and wider team members. You will be articulate and literate to a high level and possess excellent organisational skills. Experience of Raisers Edge/Sales Force would be an advantage however it is not essential for the role. This role would ideally suit someone who is interested in fundraising and wants to progress their fundraising career, particularly within the Sports Events area.
