Events Manager (Climate Change, Sustainability, Biodiversity- Home based within the UK) – Job Expired

Civitas Recruitment are proud to be working with a fantastic charity that promotes responsible investment. The charity campaigns and works with investment firms and companies to tackle issues such as climate change, global health and workforce issues. A great opportunity exists for an Events Manager to join the team. As Events Manager, you will develop and lead the charity’s external events programme. The postholder will support the charity’s research and campaign teams to identify and secure speaking opportunities at targeted third-party events. This is a full time, permanent role working from home with once-a-month travel to London for meetings and events.

Who are we looking for?

Ideal candidates will have experience of designing a variety of engaging, impactful events, including webinars, conferences and workshops. Candidates will have some experience of securing speaking opportunities at high profile third-party events. You will be able to demonstrate knowledge of event administration, managing venues, suppliers, delegate and speaker registrations. Candidates will also possess experience of digital marketing/event promotion. Previous experience of pitching to clients will be an added bonus as well as knowledge of either the charity sector, sustainability, or responsible finance however this is not essential.
