Engagement Officer (Home Based in Bristol/SouthWest) – Job Expired

Civitas Recruitment are proud to be partnering with a great charity focused on working with those living with older age and committed to fighting loneliness so that people can have social lives and friendship groups however old they are. The charity looks to inspire and enable meaningful connections and shared experiences within communities across the UK for people over 75 facing loneliness and social isolation. An exciting opportunity exists for an Engagement Officer to join the charity. As Engagement Officer, you will contribute to the delivery of the charity’s objectives by working with referral partners ensuring older people across Bristol and the South West have access to the charity’s services. You will identify speaking and presenting opportunities to ensure that the work of the charity is widely known and understood by referrers. It is a 12 month FTC role working from home.

Ideal candidates will have excellent people skills with a proven ability to collaborate with professionals, partners, older people, volunteers and colleagues. Candidates will have experience of working across different sectors and developing links with other organisations. You will have experience of working to deadlines and meeting KPI’s. You will be organised and have strong administrative and IT skills. Experience of delivering and implementing community projects would be an advantage however it is not essential for the role.
